Rivelin Library opened July 2023

This school year we were really lucky to be granted £7,000 from the Foyle Foundation to expand the selection of new and interesting books in our school and open new libraries across the Rivelin and Loxley key stages. We are so proud to now have this fantastic library space that the children are already enjoying and can’t wait for Loxley to get theirs too—It’s happening soon! In the mean time, any body looking for us will find is curled up with a good book in the Rivelin library!

On Friday 14th July, Louise Haigh, Labour MP for Sheffield Heeley and Shadow Transport Secretary, came to school to officially open the new library. She was joined by Rivelin pupils, who had helped set the library up and their parents. This was a really special event for our school and a great chance for us to show our wider community just how much we have to be proud of! Ashley Holland
